After his teenage son, Chris, is last seen by a surveillance camera on a bridge over Warsaw's turbulent Vistula River, Daniel embarks on an all-consuming search. Armed with self-built boats, drones, and underwater cameras, he relentlessly scours the river's depths. As months pass, while his own family struggles to live with the uncertainty of Chris's disappearance, Daniel begins helping other families with missing loved ones find answers — and, at times, the closure that continues to elude him.
