Saturday, February 7 at 11:00: Q&A with dir. Nathaniel Lezra, moderated by Fisayo Okare - Journalist and Digital Communications Manager for the Envision Freedom Fund after the screening

IFC Center presents a special one-week encore engagement of the award-winning documentary ROADS OF FIRE, a powerful and timely look inside the immigration crisis.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit two New York immigrant support organizations:

EVLovesNYC – an East-Village based community kitchen and mutual aid society featured in the film
New York Immigration Coalition – an umbrella policy and advocacy organization for more than 175 groups in New York State that work with immigrants and refugees

ROADS OF FIRE examines the global migrant crisis through the lens of the $35 Billion human smuggling trade, tracking a smuggler as he transports a family to the mouth of the cartel controlled Darién Gap; a young mother fighting for asylum in New York City; and volunteers on the frontlines of an escalating humanitarian emergency.

Previously screened in October 2025 featuring Q&As with director Nathaniel Lezra and the Executive Director of EV, Tyler Hefferon and Murad Awawdeh, President and CEO of the New York Immigration Coalition, Charlotte Soehner, Director of Youth Services with Resources, Opportunities, Connections & Community (ROCC), Father Mike Lopez (Hungry Monks NGO) and director Nathaniel Lezra, moderated by Rafael Cores, El Diaro NY, El Opinión
