"My favorite is the second, but everyone loves the second. This first is the craziest. You've got a cop named Mad Max out to avenge the death of his fellow officer, but we also see this Mad Max relaxing in a meadow nibbling on a peanut butter and honey sandwich, shirtless. A rabid biker gang is out raping and pillaging, led by a guy named Toecutter. Many people die. Many chases. But then Mad Max goes on a joyous vacation with his wife and baby son, and buys a new puppy. Then way more death. I'm not sure if these momentum shifts work every time, and I'm not even sure they're intentional, but these bonkers tone breaks are the best part of this first in the series." -Joel Potrykus
