After a twenty-year absence, Monica (Trace Lysette/Transparent, Hustlers) returns home for the first time since leaving as a teenager. Reconnecting with an ailing mother (Patricia Clarkson) who no longer recognizes her and the rest of her family who hold her at arm’s length, she confronts the wounds of her past and embarks on a path of healing and acceptance.
