Academy Award-winning writer-director Sorrentino (Il Divo, The Great Beauty, The Young Pope), returns to his hometown to tell his most personal story, a semi-autobiographical tale of fate and family, sports and cinema, love and loss. In the vibrant chaos of 1980s Naples, an adolescent named Fabietto is finding his way in life, until an unexpected tragedy blindsides him. Devastated, he all but shuts down, until a soccer legend and the power of his imagination show him how to forge a path out of catastrophe.
